newborn kittens in distress! 
not sure if they do it right, but the woman is feeding a newborn kitten found earlier in the night. it still has its umbilical cord attached. 


The kitten was crying his lungs, under a pile of leaves and debris in the runoff. she had a bad smell of death there, so we suspect it could be a lone survivor of the waste. the heavy afternoon rain could not have been Art 

after fish from the drain when the man and the woman lost the nerve to feel for all kinds of others. they are looking for the mother (the exodus is in direct view on our block). 

the people in the 24 hours animal hospital were so nice to save some milk powder, where none was for sale. but the cat has not ceased to cry, even after feeding, bowel movement, heat lamp and a bottle and Human Touch. It is just to the vet when they opened. 

(Update: The man is right with his little feeding and bowel discharge technique and little kitty is finally sound asleep. But it's all touch and go, we fear. We hope that the cat may have a better chance with an experienced Foster. send us an e-mail.
