After visiting ah ma's on Saturday, the woman was on a visit to a homeless mother and son living on the street with her dog and a lame bird. Their fate is regrettable, but to a point, the woman was strangely unmoved. 

Two years ago, when they are in possession of a dwelling, the thirty-year-old son and his mother has a stray dog with a history of abuse. the story of the recovery of the dog under their care is a remarkable one. 

Then, for reasons unknown, they sold their apartment. To her dog, which is a deep distrust of the people, they rented an apartment for himself for a high $ 1300 per month. That exhausted their savings, and they have not yet been rented for the government. 

Options were approved by the MP and from friends and relatives for accommodation, but no way the dog with them to stay. they opt for the streets.

these months spent the woman at the old lady hoarder 's is similar to a rabbit hole into another world. only when they thought they had ah ma's all over the world found out, she throws her another surprise or two. 

Chat with ah ma during cleaning, Jaime translated for the woman that she was happy that after many years of silence, her youngest son, and gave her pocket money. Things seem to have improved. her other son, an ex-convict, was also consistently and in close to his taxi license with Jaime and Janet help and encouragement. 

then ah ma money back in demand. Lunch, if they are with her in her favorite kopitiam, they found out why they are always short when it consistently receives money from several sources: their daughter, Jaime and Janet and a kind of people in the neighborhood. 

they saw ah ma a considerable amount of money on the side of the cafeteria-cleaner, a slightly autistic middle-aged man, also walking her boy if she needs help with heavy lifting. The poor guy was always an earful from the volunteers, because he is the one who gives ah ma their constant supply of chicken heads for the cats! 

as he is, he is the sole provider for his elderly mother and severely disabled sister. kopitiam stall owner to help him by working and living and a little extra set of each stall every month. Then last week, a process woman came up to him with her clean and cheap promises. 

ah ma gave him an ear lashing and money, what they had. they already knew their own one-woman soup kitchen in the neighborhood. a colored group of people would crawl out of the wood everyday life, their meals with her in the kopitiam and they would pay. The volunteers thought she was probably lonely and needed the company, but they could not be more wrong. the instinct, forcing them to open up in all these sad animals is exactly the same as that which compels it to something about it. 

and she is intelligent. ah ma has no scruples, which, begging and even the expense of the haves just so they can become the have-nots, as a kind of Robin Hood geriatrics. it is also the Mafia kopitiam so lucky, the con-woman, if it shows up again!

another twist in the history of this wonderland, ah ma someone left four kittens this week, and they all suffer from severe conjunctivitis. the woman is convinced himself and us all that we have no other choice than to give them the hospitality of our utility room so here they are depriving us of our strategic neighborhood look-out point, our vital evil plan seat on the rack and sleep.

on the way home yesterday, the woman came in a lady with a 1-month-plus in her kitty beaded sweater in the port bus terminal near the Seah in the Food Center. they thought it was walking around and it was at home! that a smile on the face of the woman.

2 years ago, I talked about the animal family hierarchy, in which I was the de facto leader Rosie Queen's title in the family boat. About this I have a sad tale of caution for all those of you who are still on the idea that you all seek, and please have a cat in a hierarchy of influence.

yep, Chaplin kitler is unleashing his mojo (or what's left of it) in a predominantly matriarchal budget until now. The Queen is not the duty of their position shelf just yet, but it is definitely a ceasefire agreement between rigid challenges, growls, smaller skirmishes and chalking a school yard line in the middle of the animal family. and then suddenly, the opponents give each other a tongue bath like Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. 

this demanding rivalry between our Furrer-queen and bring civilization to its animal family. Bar fights and disputes are covered by parliamentary list, back-scratching and betrayal, how the new rules of engagement.

Finally, I was the bishop without the cunning and the Knights, without the principle that I was cold with the rest of the peasants.

the people in the 24 hours animal hospital were so nice to save some milk powder, where none was for sale. but the cat has not ceased to cry, even after feeding, bowel movement, heat lamp and a bottle and Human Touch. It is just to the vet when they opened. 

(Update: The man is right with his little feeding and bowel discharge technique and little kitty is finally sound asleep. But it's all touch and go, we fear. We hope that the cat may have a better chance with an experienced Foster. send us an e-mail.

I had a look back on this blog. Dear departed Maneki and I have our faces blue bitching about the state of the cat welfare in our property and I wonder if it is time to stop rehashing the issues and the cerebral juices in this family, on solutions beyond the core areas of promotion / adoption and Trap-Neuter-Return and manage (TNRM). 

in a fit of productivity, I have a great social plan - for the world muah ha ha - and EM, like all great plans, not much of a way to achieve this goal. but it is at least a start by giving some thoughts on paper. Unfortunately, it is primarily on what I know or guess (yikes), so that all Members of fervid cats, you can light are very pleased to add to or dispute what I am here. 

It is not finished, so look for more in the coming weeks, hopefully with fresh inputs of you know, the people there. 

The main thing I see is that we raise the idea of a sustainable social enterprises in the air, because that is likely if the position of social activism. Perhaps someone has a better idea. or maybe some smart Brave souls out there can only make it work.

It was great to see the community rally around an animal quickly, as he doggy yesterday. I just hope the burst of the same community can happen to a cat wanders into the street. still waiting for that story to tell. 

I do not believe it, because it is less cat lovers there. For some inexplicable reason, they are only the work, which often prefer to cover the night for their Caped Crusader. 

Family, because the animal for the first time this quarter Root, we have noticed more and more cats in a perimeter expansion sterilized turning up that not all enjoy the hospitality of our storeroom. and this community lucky kitties sometimes more than their fair share of meals in a day, to the left of not less than 3 different investors at different times.

When the husband and wife and a neighbor were sentenced to Kaliki last night, the police came to take in response to a complaint about the noise. she said she had the green light for the dogs to complete and submit. at the end of the day, they just wanted to Kaliki fed and just wanted a safe place to sprawl and the world itself.
