PET therapy and retirement village

PET therapy and retirement village
Yesterday, CNA reported on PET therapy for dementia patients and the possible construction of a retirement village in or around Singapore.

ask themselves whether it is possible, a retirement home that is also an animal shelter. Google surfaces with several retirement pastoral animals and nothing else, so guess it's never been before, probably for good reason. I could imagine, but some residents could benefit from proximity and reciprocations with animals in need and for the more able and active tendency to them.

the residents not to protect staff course. the agreement would be of mutual benefit from the existence. only the sharing of land and possibly a portion of administrative tasks and the staff could produce tangible benefits are enough to make it worth about. perhaps even the possibility of cross contamination financing.

But there are enough people who had the idea? In addition to health risks, which are not sure whether the emotional roller coaster involved in the care for the animals protection is what the residents need. yet on the other hand, it can be an invigorating, community-building experience, which is often lacking in most old people.

what everyone think? If you know any places that have done so, I would like to know.
